Welcome to Houston!
Houston High School is a premiere high school located in Germantown, TN. Our 70 acre campus serves students in grades 9-12. Established in 1989, Houston has a reputation for encouraging students to excel both academically and in their extra-curricular activities. Are you a rising freshman? Did you know that Houston High School student applications for the 26-27 school year open January 2026? Through the Houston High School Academies, students can apply for acceptance through either our Honors Academy or Leadership Academy. We would love to welcome new Mustangs to Houston and show you what reppin' the H is all about.
What's your horsepower?
At HHS, we want each student to discover their horsepower - what their passions are, what unique skills they have, and ultimately, what they can offer to the world.
We recognize that families in our community have choices in schools perhaps more than ever before. Our goal is to be sure that Houston High remains the clear and best choice - a school that Germantown families are proud to choose and students are excited to attend.
In addition to serving the Germantown community, Houston High School offers a limited number of seats to non-resident students each year. These students apply to attend through our academies and, if accepted, pay an annual tuition fee. These additional seats are important as they allow our school to maintain our breadth of academic programs, extracurricular opportunities, and current staffing ratios, which directly benefit all of our students.

This event is designed to give prospective families - with students of any grade level - an inside look at all that our school has to offer, from academics and extracurriculars to student support services and more. Discover Houston is your chance to see firsthand how our school empowers students to define their horsepower and achieve their personal and academic goals.

New to Houston?
We offer tours throughout the year, and each of these experiences will be unique. We hope to showcase what our school has to offer so that each student can find their place at HHS. If you are an athlete, we would showcase some of our collegiate level facilities. If you are an artist, we would share all of the incredible ways that you would have the chance to display your art at Houston. Tours also allow students the chance to meet some potential classmates and teachers. Tours are available any day, and we will work to find a time that meets your schedule.
