Welcome to the HHS Course Request Website!
In addition to the 2026-2027 Course Catalog, this website is designed to help students and parents/caregivers select a focus area, develop or update a four-year plan, and request courses for the 2026-2027 school year.
Your first action item is to review the 2026-2027 Course Catalog. It is linked below.
Then, follow these steps:
Step 1: Review graduation requirements.
Step 2: Select or update your focus area (9th and 10th only).
Step 3: Develop or update your four-year plan.
Step 4: Select your course requests for the 26-27 school year.
Course Selection Process
Friday, February 6 - Tuesday, February 10: Current HHS students will meet with grade-level counselors during their English class.
Thursday, February 12: Ms. Wells, HHS 9th grade counselor, will visit HMS and RES to begin the course selection process for current 8th graders.
Tuesday, February 10 - Friday, February 13: PowerSchool open for Course Selection for rising 10th, 11th, & 12th graders; virtual office hours available to conference with their grade-level counselor Wednesday, February 11-Friday, February 13.
Friday, February 13 - Wednesday, February 18: PowerSchool open for Course Selection for incoming 9th graders; virtual office hours available to conference with grade-level counselor Wed., February 13, Tues., February 17- Wed., February 18
Thursday, February 19: Green sheets due back to HMS and RES.
Tuesday, February 17 - Friday, March 6: Counselors will meet individually or in small groups with students to finalize course selections in PowerSchool.
Monday, February 23 - Friday, February 27: Mrs. Wells will meet one on one with students.
Monday, March 9: Send home course verifications with AP/Honors recommendation forms. Due back Wednesday, March 11.
Other Events:
Tuesday, February 10: Academic Advising 101 (for current 9th, 10th, and 11th graders)
Thursday, February 12: Glow up your Horsepower 8th grade day at HMS and RES.
Thursday, February 12: 8th grade Parent Night 6 pm - 7:30 pm
