Welcome to Houston High School, a premier high school in Germantown, TN, where students in grades 9-12 explore their passions, sharpen their unique skills, and find their horsepower—what makes them shine academically, creatively, and in their extracurricular pursuits.

Families in our community have choices in schools, and we know that. Our goal is to ensure Houston High remains the clear and best choice—a school families are proud to choose and students are excited to attend.
Through the Houston High School Academies, students apply for acceptance into either our Honors Academy or Leadership Academy. While we primarily serve the Germantown community, a limited number of seats are available for non-resident students, who pay an annual tuition fee. These additional students enrich our programs and help maintain the academic and extracurricular opportunities our students value most.

Houston Academies
Houston High School offers two unique academies open to both Germantown residents and non-resident students.Honors Academy
Designed for academically motivated students seeking rigorous coursework and opportunities to earn college credit through Advanced Placement and Dual Enrollment programs.
Students in the Honors Academy are challenged to think critically, pursue academic excellence, and prepare for success at the collefgate level.
Leadership Academy
The Leadership Academy focuses on developing future leaders and community changemakers.
Students participate in leadership development, service initiatives, and collaborative learning experiences within a close-knit cohort.
Both academies allow students to explore their passions alongside peers with similar goals and ambitions.
