Choosing the right high school is an exciting milestone for both students and families. At Houston High School, rising freshmen discover a place where they can challenge themselves academically, explore their passions, and build lasting friendships.
Houston offers a high school experience filled with opportunity — from advanced academic programs and leadership development to championship athletics, award-winning arts, and over 100 clubs and student organizations.
Through our Honors Academy and Leadership Academy, students can also join smaller communities of motivated peers who share similar goals and interests.
Whether your student is an athlete, artist, scholar, or future leader, Houston High School provides the environment and opportunities to help them thrive.
Rising 9th Grade Students
If your student will be entering 9th grade for the 2026–2027 school year, we invite you to begin exploring what Houston High School has to offer.
