Houston High School senior Carter Yeargan is no stranger to the spotlight—or the hard work it takes to get there. This week, Carter’s original play, Let a Little Light In, premieres on January 25 at 2:30 and 7:00 PM and January 26 at 7:00 PM in the Houston High auditorium.

November 2024-- The AspireACT program has helped almost 250 students improve their ACT scores through specialized tutoring, with 83% seeing progress and 38 seniors qualifying for "Ready Grad" status. Ongoing support, including in-school tutoring and workshops, ensures students continue to succeed, as shown in a new spotlight video.

November 2024--Houston High seniors shared smiles and donuts with loved ones at the heartwarming "Seniors with Seniors" event, kicking off a day filled with Mustang pride.

November 2024-- The Houston Band ended their marching season by winning the AAA Division Championship at the University of Memphis and taking first place in several categories. As they shift focus to individual and ensemble musicianship, they look forward to celebrating all members at their wrap party.
