Germantown, Tennessee-- March 2, 2022--After two years of virtual races, we’re bringing it back “old school” and racing LIVE, in person, on
Sunday, April 24! Presented by the Germantown Education Foundation (GEF), this annual event is the
largest fundraiser for the Germantown Municipal School District (GMSD).

More than just a run, the day kicks off at noon with a festival featuring inflatables, a climbing wall, food
trucks, vendors, and bands, including a showcase of student performances.
Register for the 5k or 1-Mile color run event, or a combination of both. Early bird registration continues
through March 18 and provides a $5 discount off the normal $30 registration. To register, visit

Proceeds from the event are given back to each school in two ways – directly to the school based on
their registered participation, and through school and classroom grants administered by GEF. In 2021,
the virtual race raised over $38,000 and registered nearly 2,750 participants. See you there!
