Celebrating Our 2025 National Merit Commended Scholars!

HHS is proud to announce that nine of its outstanding seniors have been recognized as Commended Students in the 2025 National Merit Scholarship Program. Principal Hallie Ross shared the exciting news that Francis Anyanwu, Saajid Hanetite, Jason Le, Lydia Maxwell, Truman May, Matthew McDonald, Elijah Osters, Christina Park, and Zoe Elise Trommel have been honored for their exceptional academic achievements.

These talented students rank among the top 34,000 in the nation, an impressive feat as they stand out from the more than 1.5 million students who took the 2023 PSAT/NMSQTⓇ. Although they will not continue in the competition for National Merit Scholarships, their performance places them within the top 50,000 test-takers.

"We are incredibly proud of these students for their hard work and dedication," said Principal Ross. "Their accomplishments reflect their commitment to academic excellence, and we are excited to see their continued success."
