Parent Resources
Houston High School provides a range of resources to help parents stay informed, engaged, and supported throughout their child’s educational experience. Effective communication is at the heart of our efforts, with tools like the Let's Talk platform, which allows parents to directly connect with school staff to submit questions, comments, suggestions, concerns, or compliments. We also encourage families to subscribe to Houston Happenings, our weekly digital newsletter, which keeps parents updated on important school news and events. In addition to communication, we offer comprehensive support services, including assistance for families navigating our blended learning environment, with dedicated technology support for devices and online tools. Parents can also access important policies and procedures, such as attendance guidelines, to ensure they are fully informed about school expectations and how to report absences. To further support student success, parents can learn about Title 1 funding, including how it helps strengthen educational programs at HHS. Finally, for quick access to helpful information, we provide a section of common FAQs to address frequently asked questions on a variety of topics.
