Germantown, Tennessee—September 22nd, 2021— The GMSD Counseling and Psychology staff have organized the 2021-2022-year Q1 Parent Engagement Workshop. This virtual presentation will focus on educating parents around common signs and symptoms of substance abuse/use and provide parents a guideline on how to help their child. Topics will include identifying current trends of adolescent substance abuse, progression of use, and understanding the impact that early onset of substance abuse/addiction has on an adolescent. The presentation will take place on October 6, 2021 at 6:00 pm. Parents and guardians can join the event by scanning this QR code.
