Houston High School earns heart healthy distinction from Project Adam due to the dedication a student and a new club

Germantown, Tennessee-April 11, 2022--Recently, a new HHS Club, "Houston Hearts" was formed with specific mission--to become a heart healthy school through a national certification.  "We held an emergency response drill training for these students and got them familiar with the roles/tasks associated with this drill," said Coordinated School Heatlh Supervisor Andy Martin.

These students will team up with the staff led Emergency Response team to perform a drill with regional reps from Project ADAM, as HHS was approved to become only the second school in West TN to receive this distinction.

The founder of this club is HHS Junior, Eden Johnson. She has ambitious plans to make HHS the most Heart Safe school possible and we're so incredibly impressed with her efforts.
