June 2023 – The postseason awards for girls varsity track & field from The Daily Memphian are here! The Mustangs had several athletes recognized for the Division 1 AAA All-Metro team, as well as two special mentions for athlete of the year.
Vanderbilt signee Eva Gautreux was named as special mention for the 23-24 season, as well as upcoming senior Zoe Marsh. For The Daily Memphian’s All-Metro team, Houston had eight athletes named, and relay teams as well. Here are the athletes and relays named:
