PSAT Administration, Tuesday, October 24, 2022

HHS will be giving the PSAT to any 9th-11th grade student who registered for the test this upcoming Tuesday, October 24th. Testing will begin as close to 7:45 as possible, so students need to arrive at school on time. We have included a list of testing locations and proctors attached to this email. This will be the first year that students have taken a digital PSAT as the College Board no longer provides this test on paper. With this change, the College Board will be using new technology that detects if a student leaves the Bluebook App and accesses other items, apps, etc on their computer during testing. If this occurs, the student will have their score canceled.

Any student taking the PSAT can check out of school after testing ends if they turn in a signed parent note to their proctor. We will not be accepting parent phone calls or emails, a student must turn in a parent note.  tIf a student does not turn in a parent note, they will remain at school and follow the normal schedule for the rest of the day. Testing will conclude at 11:15 unless a student is taking the PSAT with extended time. All students need to bring the following items with them to their PSAT testing location on Tuesday:

1. FULLY Charged Chromebook

2. Graphing Calculator

3. Pencils

If a student would like to look through a preview of the new digital PSAT or take a practice test online, we have attached instructions on how to access these items. As a reminder, a student must have a College Board account in order to do this. If your student does not have an account, they will need to create one at account.collegeboard.org/login/login
