As we enter national suicide prevention month, it’s important for school districts to remind families about all of the resources that are available to them.

August 2022--The Germantown Public Art Commission, in addition to creating art spaces, has also partnered with GMSD on an exciting new venture. The City of Germantown's Public Art Manager Cat Pena and Houston High School Art Teacher Bobby Spillman are using GMSD's most talented young artists to design "creative crosswalks" proposals for the Commission.

August 2022--What did you do this summer? Meet three students who used their summer vacation to do complete incredible internships: Bridget Igadwa, Perry Pearson, and Sarah Folz.

August 2022--All this week, our team will be conducting stop counts (counting the number of students that get on the bus at each stop on the bus route) and eliminating any stops that are not being utilized.

August 2022--Houston High School athletes started off the school year with an act of servant leadership. Our Mustangs traveled to elementary schools around the district and assisted staff and parents with the carline duties. The high schoolers loved visiting their elementary schools and old teachers.

Friday Night FHES hosted an All-Star basketball game and it was a packed house.
