The Pointe Alternative School

The Pointe Alternative School at Houston is an elevated behavior-based program that provides students with long-term suspensions the opportunity to continue earning the necessary credits to graduate. The Point also teaches students the soft skills needed to successfully reenter the general education environment, and this also prepares them for their future beyond HHS. Through The Pointe, these Mustangs learn that their past mistakes do not define them, and while accepting the consequences of their actions, they can also work to move forward and take the first step towards a more enlightened way of living and communicating. 

 

The Pointe is staffed by a very strong team of experience, supportive professionals who operate under the mission statement, "To provide opportunities for academics and behavioral growth in a structured setting, and to equip students with the skills necessary to succeed in the general education environment and beyond."
