The Ned McWherter Scholars Program is "intended to encourage academically superior Tennessee high school graduates to attend college in Tennessee."

Students who are NEW to GMSD will meet with guidance counselors to select courses for the 2022-23 school year on April 13, 2022. This appointment is for course selection and NOT registration. Registration will begin on July 1, 2022.
