We are excited to offer the PSAT/NMSQT to any 9th-11th grade student this fall. The PSAT will be given on Tuesday, October 24th here at Houston HS. If you would like to register for the PSAT, please visit schoolcashonline.com to pay for the exam. The deadline to register is September 15th.

August 2023 - Jessica Minton, a Houston High educator, attended four esteemed summer programs. She has also been recognized with two highly selective accolades.

HHS Parent/Teacher Conferences will be Thursday, September 7, 2023. If you would like to meet with a teacher, you may sign up for a time between 3:00pm and 6:00pm via Skyward Family Access. Please see the attached directions.

August 2023 -- The Varsity football team started their season with an impressive 42-6 victory over Briarcrest, with Chandler Day's outstanding performance earning him a nomination for High School Football Player of the Week. The JV team plays Arlington away tonight, August 21, while the varsity Mustangs prepare for their upcoming match against South Panola on Friday, August 25.

August 2023 -- Houston High School Volleyball team excels on and off the court, earning the Team Academic Award with a 3.87 GPA. Coach Pendleton emphasizes overall development, while player Lydia Loper highlights dedication to studies alongside sports. The team's strong chemistry bodes well for the upcoming season.

The Mustang Fan bus is heading out at 2:15 p.m. on Friday, August 25th for Senatobia, MS to watch our Mustangs take on the Tigers of South Panola!!

In order to secure your seat on the bus, you must bring complete the Google form, bring in your permission slip and $10 by Tuesday, August 22nd! Spots are limited.

August 2023 - The Germantown International Fair, an annual community celebration of culture and diversity, is getting an assist from Houston High School junior, Kyra Coletta, who is putting her unique mark on this year's event.

August 2023 - It is hard to believe that SENIOR YEAR is already here! As the Class of 2024 embark on their final year in GMSD, we want to ensure they have an unforgettable experience, starting with their first special event: Senior Sunrise.

August 2023- Join RSVP Chorus with special guests Q'D UP! as they present Country Roads, an a capella extravaganza. With performances from HHS as well, this will be a spectacular show! Mr. Gregg Tingle and friends will astound you.
