Houston High’s STEM partners from the University of Memphis visited the HHS campus to share information about their programs at the university.

October 2023 - Congratulations to Abbey Johnson, HHS, and Angelie Reuer, HMS, GMSD's September Athletes of the Month.

October 2023 - Mustang football, volleyball, cross country, and soccer have all done great jobs throughout the past week and have great games and meets coming up.

HHS will be giving the PSAT to any 9th-11th grade student who registered for the test this upcoming Tuesday, October 24th.

October 2023 - The Houston Band attended the Northeast Regional Marching Contest in Mississippi, where they took home first place for their division.

October 2023: The incredible StangFest and homecoming week can be attributed to the hard work and planning of the HHS SGA Students.

September 2023- The Houston Mustangs fall sports teams are excelling, with notable achievements including a strong performance by the boys varsity golf team, a winning streak for varsity volleyball, and a significant victory for girls varsity soccer. Support for these teams is encouraged in upcoming matches and tournaments.

September 2023 – HHS Boys and Girls Varsity Golf started their post-season last week and led the way with some of the best scores at both the district tournament and regionals.

September 2023 - Houston student Angela Hernandez partnered with the Dixon Art Gallery for a quinceañera exhibition throughout National Hispanic Heritage Month.
